TestDaF Prüfung in Heidelberg
In addition to the university entrance qualification (Abitur), foreign applicants must also prove that they have a very good knowledge of German in order to obtain a place at a German university. Normally, at least language skills on level B2 (according to CEFR) are required.
The TestDaF (= Test of German as a Foreign Language) is an internationally recognized language test. It is suitable for learners who already have a good or very good knowledge of German and want to have this confirmed by an examination.
The TestDaF tests the four language skills:
Those who pass the TestDaF in all 4 areas prove that they have good language skills in the academic-scientific field.
The results can be divided into 3 different levels:
- TDN 3, was ca. Level B2.1 corresponds
- TDN 4, was ca. Level B2.2 corresponds.
- TDN 5, was ca. Level C1 corresponds.
For a successful participation in the exam we therefore recommend a completed B2 level.

Exam dates 2021 – 2022 in Heidelberg
The results will be published after 6 weeks. The participants receive a certificate with the results.
