Heidelberg is a center of attraction year after year for countless tourists, exchange students and language students around the world due to its beautiful old town, the castle ruins standing as the landmark of the town, and the beautiful rivers and forests surrounding.
Year round, people from far and wide flock to town located in the southwest of Germany, which lies in the dreamlike Neckartal (Neckar river area) and has a special charm for visitors all along. With a little more than 150,000 inhabitants, the adaptation is an easy task for any visitor.

The University of Heidelberg
The University, founded in 1385, is one of the oldest in the German-speaking world, enjoying an outstanding reputation across the country’s borders.
It is part of the so-called ‘Elite Universities’ and is especially benefited by the state.
The Ruprecht-Karls-university is not the only institution for tertiary education in this town. (This is not needed? Heidelberg is part of the metropolitan region Rhein-Neckar and is therefore one of the strongest economic spheres in Germany.
